i have a fascination for movies that take place over one night, when someone goes through a series of events that makes them realise who they really are. I guess this album is my thinking, perhaps not over one night but over last summer.
There are many forms of 80s/retro/synthwave music around that deal with happy imagery and 80s culture which is great. I sometimes wish I could make music like that, but I find beauty in the dark, in the glowing empty neon streets, lost people with nowhere to go. This is where this group of songs belong.
There are lots of people I would like to thank who have and continue to be a great support.
Steve Price for his vocals on Into the Night, Into the City - this guy has such a great voice, as soon as I heard it on Soundcloud years ago I wanted to work with him and I am so glad he agreed to sing on the album. More of Steve's stuff can be found on his Soundcloud page:
Rick Shithouse for being an ever present figure in my music life, as has Steve at Project Friday and Marko at Synthwave Sunday.
Maniac Synth and Luigi Donatello who have featured me quite a lot on their channels on Youtube.
Mostly to the great supporters who have been so kind with my previous stuff, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I enjoy reading and responding to your messages and I hope you like One Night on Earth just as much.
Dedicated to Little Ste. Goodnight my friend.
